DISTRIBUTIONS

Most of the distribution links that you see before you will require an FTP client of some kind (Cute FTP, BuletProof FTP) for downloading. All of the downloads are at least 200MB, so a fast internet connection is highly recomended. A dowload client like Gozilla might also be a good idea.
Caldera Open Linux eDesktop 2.4 -- (Fill out the registration page, then download the ISO. Must burn it to a CD)
SUSE 6.3 -- (The English version)
Slackware 7.0 -- (one of the first Linux distributors)
Phat Linux -- (One of the few Linux flavors that can be installed within Windows on a FAT32 partician)
Armed Linux 1.1 Beta -- (One of the few Linux flavors that can be installed within Windows on a FAT32 partician)
MkLinux -- (FOR MAC!!!!)
Caldera OpenLinux 2.3 -- (One of the most popular Linux distros)
WinLinux 2000 Final Beta -- (One of the better distros designed to run in a FAT32 within Windows)
Corel Linux -- (This is version 1.1 . Download is ISO Image, must be burned onto a CD and then run)
Best Linux -- (Best Linux is a Linux distribution based on KDE)
Loop Linux -- (DosLinux is a LOOP version of Linux and uses the standard Linux ext2 filesystem.)
Independence -- (Independence is a Linux distribution aiming to make Linux easier to use and attractive for non-nerds. It is developed by volunteers on a not for profit base. It is copyright by its authors according to terms of GPL version 2.)
Linux One -- (A commercial Linux operating system, together with application software programs that run on LinuxOne OS. The Company plans to port a selected group of application software programs that currently run on Microsoft Windows into LinuxOne OS.)
PingOO -- (Since its birth, PingOO is based on a Debian distribution. PingOO V 2 is founded on the most stable version of Debian/GNU/Linux)
Storm -- (Storm Linux is based on the Debian GNU/Linux distribution, Storm Linux is designed to be easy to use and simple to install. Storm Linux is a very powerfull administration too)
BOGUS Linux -- (The BOGUS Linux Release, version 1.0.1, is now available for ftp. BOGUS is an unsupported, ftp-able distribution targeted at competent Linux hackers who want a stable development system. If you do not have experience developing, installing, and maintaining a Linux system, BOGUS is probably not for you.)
Tiny -- (TINY LINUX is a small Linux distribution designed especially for reusing old computers.)
Yellow Dog Linux -- (Distribution for the PPC G3 processor)
BeOS -- Free for your desktop!
Linux from Scratch -- Interesting new download. A site designed for anyone who wants to learn Linux from scratch, literally. You can download and print out instructions for the distro. Kinda neat.
